Kalai,
According to my observation....
Office Suites can be owned by private individuals. Office Blocks/Building are generally owned by one entity and it is leased out to businesses. For example, PJ8 is a very unique Office Suites concept with residential, office suites, as well as office blocks, all within the same development from a very solid developer. I would think it's a good investment. And there are only limited units left unsold. Going at approximately RM550-600/sq ft. I'm not sure about the rental yield thou. Perhaps somebody can enlighten us about the rent they pay per square feet in PJ8's office suites.
SOHO can be any home turned into office such as those on Jalan Maarof or even a SOHO concept type of development as developers are catching up with new marketing ideas. It's a really cool idea actually. Imagine yourself leaving your home to another home to work. It works very well for certain businesses.
