My sister in law's apartment unit is being tenanted out. However the problem that her tenant is facing is there is a bunch of inconsiderate neighbours who are also tenants of another unit on the same floor belonging to a different owner. These people allow their pre-teen and teenage children to play football in the lift lobby when there is a perfectly huge football field downstairs. Numerous complaints by practically the residents of whole block, have been made to the management but they said they have tried reasoning with those tenants and even asked for the owner's contact from the agent. Not only are these people a nuisance in the lift lobby they are equally bad at the swimming pool area. I also understand they once threw down a can of paint from the 16th floor !

The management approached the agent to get the name of the owner or alternatively, could the agent inform the owner of the atrocious behaviour of his tenants. Being irresponsible and selfish, the agent said no can do and totally ignored that request. She asked if anyone got hurt, since none, so there was no need to do anything.

Now is that how agents behave?? Is money the MAJOR criteria so much so that she (this agent is a lady) doesnt care two hoots about anyone else? Is this attitude a norm among agents? Please I hope not!!

Its awful to hear the story. I've got one. I dislike a neighbours with dogs. I dont mind if they're having only 1 dog. But if they're having more than 3 it irritates me.

Anyway, its typical problems in Malaysia. People will reacts when there is a big problem (ie someone killed). Sigh!!

How awful to be stuck with such inconsiderate people. We keep saying thats the Malaysian way. Why???? We should stick up for what we believe in.

Just the other day I ordered a bowl of beef soup. When it came it was so watered down. I sent it back and refused to pay for it. the owner came over, took a look at the soup and agreed with me. Now if I hadnt kick up a fuss, I would probably have to pay for something I would definitely not want to partake. Now thats the Malaysian way:laugh:

The council cant be bothered, not only in Penang but probably in other states as well. My friend who lives in a terrace house is living next door to a guy who breeds guard dogs for sale. Can you imagine the pong and the endless barking? Talking to that guy was useless, complaints to the local council fell on deaf ears. You know why because that guy used to be a top civil servant so hands off! How sickening?

and by the way, my friend hardly ever spends his days in his own house and he is still paying off the mortgage. He cant sell and rent it out. Who wants to stay next door to such an environment.

Huh...this is Malaysia culture.....
Just wondering either there's any electronic devices in Malaysia that can make the dogs sick ah?
Eg:- Ultrasonic device or etc.....

Human make noise middle of the night can be nab by police. But, dogs barking middle of the night is free of violation and no enforcement on it.
